The popular multimedia Slingboxes return with the new Slingbox Pro and Solo.

The groundbreaking technology introduced by Slingbox dynamically adjusts your video quality by automatically adjusting compression levels, video bit rate, and other settings to provide the best possible viewing and continuous quality video experience.

The Emmy award-winning Slingbox service allows the consumer to happily control their DVRs, digital cable, satellite receiver, or DVD player and control their living room television shows and sporting events at any time and the ability to watch it on any device, from PCs, Macs, PDAs, and smart phones.

The Pro has built in Freeview and accepts inputs from up to three sources, and has High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), which is a licensable audio/video connector interface used for transmitting uncompressed, encrypted digital streams.

The Solo comes with a smart glossy, piano-black lacquered finish and the red Perspex look of the Pro which completes any home cinema rig.

Also announced is the first release of the free SlingPlayer Mobile; the software works on Pocket PC, Windows Mobile and Series 60 Handsets
