Emirates up for three awards

Emirates Shipping Line has announced that it has been nominated successively for three industry awards during October 2007

The prizes are 'Container Shipping Line of the Year' of the Lloyds List Asia Awards, 'Shipping Line of the Year' of the Supply Chain Asia-Logistics Award, and 'Shipping Company of the Year' of the Lloyd's List Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Shipping Awards.

The Line's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Jamshed Safdar expressed gratification to the award nominations and commented, “Prior to the three award nominations this year, we have already won the Best Emerging Company in both Asia Logistics Awards held in Singapore and the Lloyd's List Maritime Asia Awards held in Kuala Lumpur.

Emirates Shipping Line FZE, is registered in Dubai Maritime City of UAE and commercially headquartered in Dubai and Hong Kong, two of the busiest commercial hubs in the world. The company hosted its first annual gala dinner at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai yesterday, inviting key customers and vendors in the Middle Eastern region.
