The IT solutions and services provider yesterday, July 22, outlined an offer for the remaining 44.9 percent of its Asian subsidiary Datacraft Asia Ltd.

The acquisition equates to US$1.33 per share and will be financed through a combination of equity and cash. This translates into a total purchase consideration of US$276 million.

“We are excited about the opportunity to acquire the remaining shares of Datacraft,” said Dimension Data plc CEO Brett Dawson.

“Integrating Datacraft will provide greater flexibility and place us in a better position to capture market opportunities.”

The acquisition must meet the approval of shareholders and regulatory committees before it can be completed.
