The board of C&C Group plc has appointed John Dunsmore as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, following the resignation of Maurice Pratt on October 9.
Dunsmore was previously Chief Executive of Scottish & Newcastle, a position he held until the joint acquisition of the business by Heineken and Carlsberg in April 2008.
The Irish drinks group also named Stephen Glancey Chief Operating Officer with
immediate effect and said that Kenny Neison had been made Strategy Director. All three appointees were former members of the senior management team Scottish & Newcastle.
C&C said that the remuneration of the three appointees will include a high element of share-based incentive. The scheme to facilitate this involves the issue of up to 16 million new shares at a price of €1.15, a 10 percent initial capital contribution from participants and a market performance vesting condition.
